Some of the most-hugged pillows have no photo at all, just a name and a date that mean something: a baby’s name and birth date, two names and a wedding day, a family surname over the year the house became home. Name and date pillows keep the design simple so the words do the work.
\nGood wording is short. A first name, a pair of names joined with an ampersand, or a date written the way the family says it. Accents and capital letters are printed exactly as typed, so “Lucía” stays “Lucía”. If the text is long, consider splitting it into a name line and a smaller date line, and tell us which is which in the notes.
