When someone is gone, holding something soft can help. Memorial pillows and blankets carry a loved one’s photo, their name and the dates that frame their life, or a handwritten line photographed from a card they once sent. They are often ordered for a parent, a grandparent or a pet, and given to family members who were close to them.
\nChoose a photo that feels like them, not necessarily the most formal one. Old prints can be scanned or photographed in daylight. If you want a handwriting line, photograph the note flat, without shadows, and tell us in the notes which part to use.
